Since 2010, the Gypsy Jazz Band "Swing on Fire" from the Rhein-Main region has been whisking its audience on a journey through time to the first half of the 20th century with the unmistakable, energetic Gypsy Sound.
The Frankfurt Gypsy Band can perform as a trio or with various guest musicians (clarinet, violin, singer) as quartet or quintet. Own Beschalungsanlage for events up to 200 people is available.
Swing on Fire as a trio is also well suited for the smaller frame and for smaller spaces. Of course, as a typical background band for all sorts of occasions. Experienced musicians Ivica Pavlovic (guitar / vocals), Fritz Scheerer (guitar) and Thomas Schilling (double bass) have been playing together for a long time and you can hear that.
The current program with the singer Mel Fischer is called "Once Around the World". Here Swing, Bossa, Bolero and Chanson are presented in five different languages. There is vocal art at the highest level because Mels gentle voice is already something special! Together with Ivica she sings some wonderful duets.
The band can be extended by other musicians (according to customers wishes and availability!)
