Jens Bracher studied trumpet at the University of Freiburg, the Manhattan School of Music in New York, and the University of Music Stuttgart, where he graduated in 2008.He is the first German stipendiary of the International Ensemble Modern Academy in Frankfurt and simultaneously trained with Prof. William Forman at the “Hanns Eisler University Berlin”
He completed master classes with Ole Edvard Antonsen, Prof. Malte Burba, Prof. Reinhold Friedrich, Prof. Wolfgang Guggenberger, Falk Maertens (DSO Berlin), Mike Sachs(Cleveland Orchestra)and Prof. Klaus Schuhwerk.
In the area of Jazz, he perfected his skills with training from Axel Schlosser of the “hr Big Band”.

During his graduate studies he was invited to play with professional orchestras in Stuttgart, Heilbronn, Pforzheim and Freiburg. He is a stipendiary of the music foundation of the L-Bank and the first German trumpet player with a Fulbright scholarship.Additional Information
